21:7. கர்த்தர் தாவீதுக்கும் அவன் குமாரருக்கும் என்றென்றைக்கும் ஒரு விளக்கைக் கட்டளையிடுவேன் என்று சொல்லி, அவனோடே பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையினிமித்தம் தாவீதின் வம்சத்தை அழிக்கச் சித்தமில்லாதிருந்தார்.

21:7. ஆனால் கர்த்தர் தாவீதின் வம்சத்தை அழிக்க விரும்பவில்லை. ஏனென்றால் கர்த்தர் தாவீதோடு ஏற்கெனவே உடன்படிக்கை செய்திருந்தார். தாவீதிற்கும் அவனது குடும்பத்திற்கும் என்றென்றைக்கும் விளக்கேற்றி வைப்பதாகக் கர்த்தர் வாக்களித்திருந்தார்.
